• This serial hub is ready for wall-mounting and is enclosed in a black all-metal chassis, designed to withstand the tough industrial environments or to simply install securely to your desktop.

While working from your PC, add 4 RS-232 ports as though they're built on via a single USB 2.0 cable. Because the serial adapter is bus powered, there's no need for an external power supply. However, for devices that require additional power, there is the option to use the included DC connector or terminal block.

After installation, the COM port retention allows users to plug or unplug the single USB cable into different ports, or even after a reboot, and ensures the same settings and values are restored automatically to each specific RS-232 connection.

The hub is a cost-effective way to connect legacy serial devices without needing to upgrade equipment and acts as a compatibility bridge between USB and serial peripherals.
