The AMC6821 temperature monitor with PWM fan control is designed for applications that need active system cooling such as PCs, telecommunications equipment, DLP™ and LCD projectors . The monitor also works to reduce noise levels and power usage.
The AMC6821 has 3 functions;
1. Fan driver
2. Fan speed control
3. Monitors remote sensor diode temperatures
