Protect cable ends from mechanical and environmental hazards with this heat shrink boot from 3M. Its inner diameter quickly contracts from 20 to 8mm when heated to a minimum of +120°C. This makes it a versatile pick for shielding cables with an outer diameter between 7.9 and 10.9mm. An adhesive inside melts during heating and solidifies as it cools to create a flexible but watertight seal.

As a high-performance polymer, cross-linked polyolefin (XLPO) withstands temperatures between -30°C and +135°C and resists UV, abrasion and corrosion.
