What is the advantage of a flush cutter?
Flush wire cutters, or straight wire cutter, don't leave a 'spike' or angle in the wire after it has been cut. Because of the shape of their blades, they are slightly less durable than beveled cutters, but a straight cut or flush wire may be preferable where there is a risk of damaging delicate components. Where precision is more of a concern than durability, flush cutters should be used.
Though other tools such as pliers might have cable cutters integrated, specialist wire cutters typically deliver a better, neater and safer wire cutting experience.
It this wire cutter VDE certified?
This wire cutter isn't VDE approved and cannot be used on live electric cables.
