Osram HALOTERM IR Halogen Lamps with White Reflector

The Osram HALOTHERM with reflector is a range of shortwave halogen IR lamps designed especially for technical applications. These IR lamps feature a tungsten heating coil, a quartz tube and an aluminium oxide reflector. Quartz glass is highly transparent to infrared radiation, allowing for a better wavelength and the reflector significantly improves the radiation power, reflecting heat forward, hence reducing the heating of the surrounding areas behind the lamp. Compared to other forms of heating, such as hot air or dark radiators, the HALOTHERM heat lamps offer quick reaction times, accurate controllability and high efficiency. These infrared lamps require minimum space and very little maintenance. Applications of the HALOTHERM IR heat lamps include processing of plastic, paper and printing industry, paint drying, coil coating, outdoor and indoor zone heating, catering (cooking surfaces, heated counter tops for food preparation and display), infrared cabins.
