MC7815 Linear voltage regulator, ON Semiconductor
The ON Semiconductor linear voltage regulators generate a fixed 15 V output with 2% or 4% tolerances. The MC7815 positive voltage regulator includes safe area compensation; it also has internal current limiting and thermal shutdown overload protection. There are no external components required unless you want to adjust the outputs. These devices are suitable in many applications within the electronics Industry.
