From Devolo, the dLAN 1200+ Powerline provide an uncomplicated solution for high-speed internet networking across the home. Powerline adapters, or HomePlug as they are also known are simple plug-in adapters that utilise the homes existing electrical circuit to create internet access points. The dLAN Powerline adapters provide a continuous, reliable internet connection with speeds up to 1200 Mbps. Incorporating a fast Gigabit LAN (Local Area Network) port and integrated power socket, the powerline 1200+ adapters are versatile as they can support connection of a network device and an electrical device at the same time. Ideal for use in busy multi-level households requiring unlimited on-line access. Set up is easy, simply insert a Powerline adapter into a socket outlet close to your router. Attach an RJ45 patch cable to the Ethernet port at the bottom of the Powerline adapter. Connect the other end of the patch cable into the spare Ethernet port at the back of your router. An additional Powerline adapter is plugged into a power socket in another room where internet access is required. Connect a second Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the additional adapter and connect to your device. High-speed internet access is achieved through your electrical wiring circuit. Compact in design, these Powerline adapters are discreetly placed where ever additional internet access is required or the current reception is weak. The integrated automatic encryption feature ensures total peace of mind from unwanted unauthorised access. The dLAN 1200+ series are available as a single Powerline adapter or as a starter kit.
