917 Series Discrete Wire IDC
The 917 series of surface mount IDC connectors is designed to be used in harsh automotive and industrial applications, by connecting wires directly to PCB boards. The series has been tested to automotive levels of vibration and temperature cycling to prove how reliable and robust they are.
Due to the simplicity of connecting a wire into the IDC connector by just using a small tool, this allows a wide range of devices to be connected without the need of soldering.
