The VSMG10850 series, from Vishay Semiconductors, are Infrared (IR) emitting diodes. These IR LEDs are surface mount (SMT) side looking packages which use double hetero (DH) technology. The VSMG10850 IREDs have a clear untinted plastic package.
Ideal applications for the VSMG10850 IR LEDs include; IR touch panels, transmissive or reflective sensors and emitter applications where space is limited.
