RS PRO Pressure Mat – Surface Mount

Use this RS PRO pressure mat as a discreet way to monitor the presence of people in your workspace, this RS PRO pressure mat is an ideal solution. It's a flat pad that can be placed easily under a carpet, vinyl flooring or furniture upholstery. The sensor is triggered when a load of more than 25 kg is applied over a 50 mm² area. The mat is made of seam-welded PVC (polyvinyl chloride), so it can withstand repeated use and has a long lifespan. You can use this mat for security at the entrance to a building, to detect when furniture is occupied, and as part of an interactive multimedia installation.
