RS PRO SPDT 16 A Capillary Thermostat, Manual Reset

Control the temperature of both domestic and industrial appliances with this easy-to-use capillary thermostat. This versatile, multi-function device suits a range of different situations, from household gadgets to commercial equipment.
With an ability to regulate temperatures as low as -35°C, this thermostat is most commonly used in applications that cope with low temperatures. As it has changeover contacts, it can be used in a range of systems with both heating and cooling loads.
The thermostat's main bulb is separated by a 1 mm capillary from the contact head. The fluid moves as the pressure changes. When a pre-set temperature is reached, the capillary breaks and automatically activates the safe cut-off of the circuit. It must be manually reset once this has happened.
Complete with a chrome mounting bezel and knob, it is simple to mount this kind of capillary thermostat, which is commonly found in systems such as industrial refrigerators.
