This Fibre optic test equipment cleaning kit provides a Compact set of mechanical cleaners and complementary tools for removing contaminants from connector end faces in installation and maintenance environments. It comprises cleaners for 1.25mm and 2.5mm ferrules Plus an MPO cleaner, a solvent pen, a cleaning cube and soft case, enabling field technicians to perform repeatable dry cleaning on multimode and singlemode connectors across patch panels, adapters and unmated cable assemblies.

How do the cleaners remove residue without solvents?

They use a dry cleaning strand housed in an antistatic moulded body that gently sweeps debris and residues such as salt, oil and lint from the ferrule surface.

Are the MPO tools effective on both male and female bulkheads?

Yes, the MPO cleaner has a keyed nozzle and alignment cap to clean both male (with guide pin) and female (no guide pin) MT ferrules in bulkhead adapters and unmated assemblies.
